Lightning Surge Protector Withstands 12.5 kA

Raycap announced that its Strikesorb 40 product series has been updated, and the Maximum Impulse Current specification the SPDs can withstand is now 12.5 kA direct lightning. The Strikesorb 40 SPD products are engineered to protect electronic equipment against electrical damage caused by overvoltage events and lightning strikes. All products in the Strikesorb 40 product series have been successfully tested and certified as Class I surge protective devices per the IEC 61643-1:2005 standard.
