Self-confessed “mad scientist” Rob Flickenger has created a Tesla-inspired gun based off of images from the graphic novel The Five Fists of Science. The cover of the graphic novel features an image of a young Tesla holding several weapons containing Tesla coils.
Flickenger designed and constructed his Tesla-inspired gun over several months and claims to have “tapped Seattle’s many hacker spaces” for assistance. The high-voltage gun is capable of firing 20,000 volts.
